Zoey hates to nap. If you say the word Nap, she freaks. However, she falls asleep just about anywhere!

My daughters hate to take naps. Its a power struggle with them and not one I choose to have. Sydney loves to remind us she doesn't take naps anymore. Really Sydney, then why on days do you end up acting like this?

Dear Zoey,
First Mommy has to apologize for not posting this earlier. It doesn't mean I don't love you, I just don't have a love for writing blogs. But because Mommy has a terrible memory I hope one day you can go back and read these little entries Mommy has made about you and your big sister.
Time sure has flown by since the day you were born. Before you took your first breathe, I used to believe that you were going to be a carbon copy of Sydney. I do not know why I had these thoughts but I did. However the moment I first laid eyes on you, I knew that you were special all on your own. I was amazed at how beautiful you were and how I was so lucky to end up with two adorable little girls. I loved the little sigh you would make as you began to fall asleep and how comfortable you looked to be in this world.

Dear Sydney & Zoey,
Today was one of Mom's toughest decisions- crafts or chores. It was only hard until I saw your two faces with pleading eyes looking at me. I looked around, closed my eyes ,and took a breath. Craft time of course, because you are only little once! I want you ro remember your Mommy as being the Mommy who made the time for you instead of being the Mommy who is cleaning.
Since Valentine's Day is around the corner, we decided to make some of our own decorations ( b/c homemade is the best kind of course) First Mommy traced a bunch of hearts. Then you colored them or in Zoey's words scribbled on them

Seriously, the child that picks her nose in public is never my child. So let me tell you how surprised I was to see my daughter, the Angel is her Christian preschool program pick her nose. And was amazed me even more that I got a photo of it and decided to post it. Excuse the quality of the photo!
